Chilli Mackerel individual fillets. A delicious twist on our Peppered Mackerel Fillets only here we take our plump and juicy Mackerel fillets which have been gently brined. add a generous sprinkle of chilli and hot smoke over oak.
This is not "blow your ears off" hot, the chilli is subtle enough to just add an edge and enhance the gentle oak smoking of the mackerel. If you like your food more on the spicey side this is a marriage made in heaven.
Keep refrigerated (store below 5 degrees C). Generally will keep for 10 days from delivery date (Important: Always refer to use by date on the packet).
Suitable for home freezing (must be frozen before use by date). Consume within 3 months of freezing. Thoroughly defrost before use.
Smoked Mackerel fillets can be eaten hot or cold. Make an excellent accompaniment to salads and cold platters.
To heat warm gently in the oven or under a grill.
