Water Biscuits are the "connoisseur’s cracker". A simple mixture of flour and water, originally baked without fat meaning they survived on long sea journeys, hence the name. Their 'neutral' flavour and satisfying snap makes them the purists cracker of choise to accompany all cheeses. At the top of the connoisseur’s cracker list would be Miller's Elements Water Biscuits. Made from only two ingredients, flour and water and then flame-baked.
As well as cheese these make the ideal accompaniments to our patés, on their own, or combined with cheeses and Marsh Pig meats and salamis for a sophisticated cheese or anti-pasta board.
