We've had to go slightly our of area for Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese, well just across the Wash to the Lincolnshire Wolds, but for good reason. Quite simply we rate Lincolnshire Poacher as the best cheddar style cheese we have tasted.
Traditionally made with unpasteurised milk from Simon Jones' herd of Holstein Freisans is matured for about 14 to 16 months. The result is a full fat, ward-winning Supreme Champion rustic hard cheese with a loads of flavour.
Keep refrigerated.
