Eat fresh, preferably on the day we deliver or freeze at home to use as individual portions.
Always ensure fish is piping hot and cooked through before serving. Although every care is taken during preparation fish may occasionally contain bones.
Keep refrigerated (store below 5 degrees C), Should be consumed within 4 days of arrival - important always refer to product Use By. Suitable for home freezing at -18°C or below, freeze on day of receipt and consume within 3 months.
Defrost thoroughly in the fridge before cooking and once defrosted do not re-freeze.

Cod can be pan fried, baked in the oven, grilled, barbecued and is a key ingredient in fish pie.
To Pan Fry, pat dry and sprinkle with sea salt. Add a glug of oil and a knob of butter to the pan over a medium heat and when it starts to bubble add the cod skin-side down for about 3 minutes. Flip it over, baste and cook until the fish has lost its opaque texture - around another 3 minutes. Serve with a dash of lemon and a twist of black pepper.
